Since the interview, the open-source community around Microk8s has been releasing versions regularly, including keeping the Kubernetes versions up to date and continuing to add new add-ons to their one-line install list. It's getting quite impressive at this point, including kata containers, open EBS, and the KEDA (Kubernetes Event-driven Autoscaling) event-driven auto-scaling.
